Aims & Scope

SQUJS is an international open access journal that serves specific fields of science by disseminating major advances in scientific and technological issues. Papers should contain significant original research findings, reviews of topical issues and challenges, and case reports. The paper should highlight new hypothesis, novel investigative methodology, data analysis, and innovative ideas in fundamental and applied sciences. Moreover, SQUJS welcomes articles related to applied aspects of science with strategic relevance to the needs of the Omani society. Examples of applied studies of local interest may include geological and geophysical case studies and fieldwork results from different areas of Oman; strategies for oil recovery and water purification; environmental and ecological studies; case studies in microbiology; and design, implementation and evaluation of IT solutions for the local industry. The journal also intends to promote advances in science education, research and emerging technology in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and Arab world at large.
