Sultan Qaboos University Journal for Science (SQUJS) is an international, peer-reviewed Open Access journal dedicated to disseminating major advances in fundamental and applied sciences. SQUJS is published exclusively in English; the journal is a fully Open Access publication with no article processing charges (APCs) that ensures scientific quality through a rigorous single-blind peer review process. As of 2024, the journal publishes three issues per year, with an average time to acceptance of 3 to 6 months and an overall time to publication ranging from 6 to 12 months. To foster comprehensive scientific discourse, we welcome a wide variety of manuscript types, including Editorials, Reviews, Mini Reviews, Research Articles, Rapid Communications, Perspectives, Science Education Articles, Snapshots, Case Studies, Letters to the Editor, and Book Reviews. The journal's content is highly discoverable and preserved, being abstracted and indexed in J-Gate, Google Scholar, DOAJ, ALMANHAL, Crossref, LOCKSS, and EBSCO databases.
