Sultan Qaboos University Journal for Science (SQUJS) is an international, peer-reviewed Open Access journal dedicated to disseminating major advances in fundamental and applied sciences. SQUJS is published exclusively in English; the journal is a fully Open Access publication with no article processing charges (APCs) that ensures scientific quality through a rigorous single-blind peer review process. As of 2024, the journal publishes three issues per year, with an average time to acceptance of 3 to 6 months and an overall time to publication ranging from 6 to 12 months. To foster comprehensive scientific discourse, we welcome a wide variety of manuscript types, including Editorials, Reviews, Mini Reviews, Research Articles, Rapid Communications, Perspectives, Science Education Articles, Snapshots, Case Studies, Letters to the Editor, and Book Reviews.
